Laclede Gas E-Bill Cash Prize Drawing Official Rules

This promotion is intended for participation in the service territory of Laclede Gas and Missouri Natural Gas in the state of Missouri only and shall be construed and evaluated according to the laws of the state of Missouri and of the United States. Please do not enter this promotion unless you are a legal resident of the United States, 18 years of age or older, and a current customer of Laclede Gas or Missouri Natural Gas in the state of Missouri.

OFFICIAL RULES
1. TO ENTER: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. Purchase
will not increase your chances of winning. Enter the Laclede Gas E-bill Cash Prize Drawing (the "Prize Drawing") sponsored by Laclede Gas Company (“Laclede Gas”) by subscribing to Laclede Gas’ e-bill electronic billing service through Laclede Gas’ website at www.lacledegas.com or www.OriginalGreenEnergy.com.

2. PRIZE DRAWING PERIOD: All eligible entries for the Prize Drawing must be
received by April 30, 2010. An Entry, defined as a Laclede Gas or Missouri Natural Gas customer’s subscription to Laclede Gas’ e-bill electronic billing service, is considered eligible upon receipt and approval of said subscription by Laclede Gas. Subscriptions may be, at the discretion of Laclede Gas, approved or rejected based on, among other factors, the customer’s Laclede Gas or Missouri Natural Gas account status. Laclede Gas, at its sole discretion, may include an Entrant whose subscription is approved by Laclede Gas after the Prize Drawing Period but before Laclede Gas conducts the winner selection.

3. ELIGIBILITY: The Prize Drawing is open only to current customers of Laclede Gas or Missouri Natural Gas who have Laclede Gas-approved subscriptions to Laclede Gas’ e-bill electronic billing service, who are legal residents of the United States, and who are 18 years of age or older (“Entrant”). Employees of Laclede Gas, Missouri Natural Gas, The Laclede Group, Inc., or their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, and/or advertising, promotional, or fulfillment agencies of or contracted by any of the foregoing individuals or entities (“Prize Drawing Entities”), and immediate family members and/or persons living in the same household of such employees are not eligible.

4. WINNER SELECTION: When your e-bill subscription is received and approved, you have not yet won. At the end of the Prize Drawing Period, one winner will be selected randomly from all eligible entries received. The award process will be conducted by Laclede Gas, whose decision shall be final and binding on all matters relating to the Prize Drawing. All entries have the same chance of winning. No one will know who the winner is until after the random selection by Laclede Gas.

5. PRIZES: The first-prize winner will receive $1,000 in cash along with a $100
donation that Laclede Gas will make on the first-prize winner’s behalf to the firstprize winner’s green charity of choice. The second-prize winner will receive $100 in cash along with a $50 donation that Laclede Gas will make on the second-prize winner’s behalf to the second-prize winner’s green charity of choice. Laclede Gas defines a green charity as a legally recognized not-for-profit organization that promotes and supports environmental sustainability and/or conservation through its activities. The prizes will be awarded, provided they are properly claimed.

6. WINNER NOTIFICATION: The selection of winners for the Prize Drawing will
take place on or about May 21, 2010. Winners will be notified by phone, e-mail or mail and will be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and
liability/publicity release within fourteen (14) days of notification. If Sponsor is
unable to contact a winner despite Sponsor's reasonable efforts to do so, an alternate winner will be selected. Failure to return the signed affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release within fourteen (14) days of notification, or return of any prize notification or prize as undeliverable, may result in forfeiture of prize and selection of an alternate winner, in Sponsor's sole discretion.

7. GENERAL CONDITIONS: This Prize Drawing is void outside the state of
Missouri and wherever prohibited by law. All federal, state, and local laws and
regulations apply to this Prize Drawing. No prize transfers or substitutions are
permitted. Federal law requires that a Form 1099 be supplied to the winner. All
federal, state and local taxes on a prize, if any, are the sole responsibility of the
winner. The Prize Drawing is also subject to these Official Rules. If you cannot or will not comply with these Official Rules, you should not enter or participate in the Prize Drawing. By entering this Prize Drawing, Entrants agree to abide by and be bound by these Official Rules and to waive any right to claim any ambiguity or error in these Official Rules or the Prize Drawing itself. Entrants agree to be bound by all decisions of the Sponsor, whose decisions are final and binding. Submission of entry constitutes permission for Sponsor to use the winner’s Prize Drawing entry, name, city and state of residence, picture, likeness and biographical information, participation in the Prize Drawing and any material based thereon or derived therefrom, or to refrain from so doing, for all advertising, trade, or promotional uses, without further compensation, worldwide and in perpetuity, in all forms of media, now known or hereafter devised, except where prohibited by law.

8. PRIVACY POLICY: Sponsor will securely store and will consider confidential all information submitted by Entrants and will not sell or otherwise disclose it to any outside company, except that Sponsor may use Entries and the information submitted by Entrants to help evaluate and improve the operations operated by the Prize Drawing Entities.

9. DISCLAIMERS: By entering the Prize Drawing, each Entrant releases the Prize Drawing Entities and agents from all responsibility or liability for damages, losses or injuries of any kind resulting from participation in the Prize Drawing, or any prizerelated activities, or awarding, possession, use and/or misuse of prize awarded herein. Entrant agrees that Prize Drawing Entities will not be responsible or liable for any entries which are not in compliance with these Official Rules, or for any late, lost, garbled, illegible, damaged, stolen, incomplete, or misdirected entries or data transmission. Prize Drawing Entities are not responsible for technical, hardware, software or telephone malfunctions of any kind, or failed, incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate, garbled, or delayed electronic communications caused by the user or by any of the telephone equipment or computer programming associated with or utilized in this Prize Drawing, or by the failure of any mail or delivery service or any human
error which may occur in the processing of the entries in this Prize Drawing. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Prize Drawing if the Prize Drawing is not capable of running as planned, due to infection by computer virus, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other problems beyond the control of Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it determines to be tampering with any entry mechanism, violating the Official Rules, or acting in a disruptive manner.
